I've been into wargaming for nearly 30 years now. I started off with Warhammer Fantasy Battle and then Warhammer 40,000 back when it was the Rogue Trader rules and the only plastic miniatures were the Space Marines. Over the years I have diversified and tried many other games systems from brief excursions into English Civil War or Napoleonics to Ancient Romans and Celts. These days any focus that I manage is on 1938 A Very British Civil War although I have my finger in a dozen other pies, currently a French Indian War project that is rapidly morphing into an American Civil War project along with an unhealthy amount of time going into Zombicide with an occasional unfortunate return to paint something GW that caught my eye such as the recent re-release of Space Hulk!
Unfortunately I very rarely actually get to game; I just spend hundreds of hours modelling and painting, occasionally producing the odd bit of scenery and a scary amount of time making endless army lists for devastating forces that shall never see the light beyond the end of the miniature display cases.
